The Intoxicated Youth and the Mini Cooper

With love, his parents gifted him a vehicle,
a colourful dream called a Mini Cooper,
to give wings to his ambitions!

It was a gift, an expression of love.
But... intoxication blurred his vision,
and the thrill of speed clouded his judgment.
Thinking of the road as a playground,
he forgot even the value of human life!

Three lives, three families.
In homes where hopes had blossomed,
cries of grief arose over lives cut short.
As the locals gathered around, the young man shouted loudly,
“My father will take care of everything!”

At that moment, humanity stood
with its head bowed on a blood-soaked road.
“My father will take care of everything...”
True enough, my son, your father may be able to pay the price.
But can his wealth bring back the three lives that were lost?
In what court can money compensate for the families ,
robbed of their loved ones
and the burning anguish etched into their mothers’ hearts?

What parents must give their children
is not merely gifts, but the light of wisdom
and the radiance of moral values.
They must instil the dignity of humanity
and a sense of responsibility.

That Mini Cooper now poses a question to society’s conscience:
Should we gift our children the freedom to do whatever they please
and a life of luxury, or the wisdom to live as responsible human beings?
