Love for Allah grows
When we know who He is,
When we understand His power,
When we acknowledge His Oneness,
When we associate no one with Him
In His Names and Attributes,
And when we pray to Him alone.

The sign of love for Allah
Is obedience to Him,
Glorifying His greatness,
Praising Him at all times,
Reflecting deeply upon His signs,
And seeking His pleasure.

Love for Allah Is the awareness that
He knows us, Fearing disobedience to Him,
Making sacrifices to earn His pleasure,
Giving up our own desires for His sake,
Remaining patient with His decree,
And persevering upon His path.

Love for Allah
Is drawing closer to Him through good deeds,
Repenting for our sins,
Purifying our hearts for His sake,
Being grateful for the blessings He has bestowed,
Keeping hope in His mercy,
And striving for the Paradise we long for.
