An ideology that embraces womanhood
It is the golden light of the sacred faith,
She is no mere shadow on this earth,
but the radiant light of the home.

When a woman becomes a mother,
she is the gateway to Paradise for her children;
As a daughter growing up,
she serves as a shield for her father against the Fire of Hell.

As a spouse living beside her husband,
she completes half of his faith;
Bestowing upon her every right,
Islam elevated her status to great heights.

It severed the chains of oppression
and opened for her the path of knowledge.
A woman is not a commodity to be sold,
nor a display piece to be showcased.

Islam declared that she, too, has
the absolute right to live with dignity.
Her bodily grace is not for public view;
it ought to be covered with utmost care.

It bestows self-respect and grants profound security.
Why should onlookers feel distress over a modesty
that causes no pain to the woman who wears it?
